Tannum Sands Holiday and Caravan Park

There is a 2km walking track that starts outside the caravan park and ends just south of the Boyne River. The track meanders along the waterfront through a series of manicured parks and picnic grounds. This demonstrates the commitment the local community has to provide top class recreation areas for public use.
This remains a highlight of our trip.
Tannum Sands allows the use of off-ground fire pits. We used ours here for the first time. It provided a focal point for meeting many of our neighbours from surrounding sites. We found our stay at Tannum Sands to be particularly social.
