Visited August 2020 - Independent Review - No Sponsorship or Affiliation

Bargara is a large caravan park that offers a wide range of facilities.

When we made our booking there were no powered sites available, so we booked an unpowered site for 3 nights.

We were in the unpowered area at the top right hand corner of the site map. There are a lot of trees in this part of the park. This would be a big advantage on a hot summer day.

However, we had a lot of rain while we were at Bargara. The result was that the grass site became mostly mud coloured by grass.

We took a day trip to Childers. This is a very pretty town and well worth a visit.

We went to Bundaberg hoping to take a tour of the Bundaberg Rum Distillery. They were not conducting tours due to the COVID 19 restrictions.

This one is the 38k Peg Rest Area on the Eyre Highway (Nullarbor Plain). We were simply amazed by the views. More details can be found  here .
