We visited Karlu Karlu on the 19th May 2021. It is a must see for anyone travelling on the Sturt Highway in the Northern Territory. It is about 120km south of the Barkly Highway / Sturt Highway intersection.


You can camp at the Karlu Karlu site; this looked a bit too dusty to us. So we spent 2 nights at the Devil's Marbles Hotel. The camp ground behind the hotel is crowded and the facilities are a bit basic. However the hotel bar, garden and pool are inviting. And the hotel serves very good food in the evenings.


Karlu Karlu will remain in your memory long after you leave.
